I had the privilege of photographing Jada today. She is 2 and she is captivating! I don't know how anyone who meets her, for the rest of her life, will have any choice but to fall madly in love with her. She is precious and I am so glad that I got to meet her. I'm still editing the photos, but here are my favs so far...

Last Thursday was beautiful - atypically beautiful for Boone in April and as blessings would have it, I had a bridal shoot!  I was a little worried about the beaming sun as I prepared for my shoot, but I set out hoping we would make it work and we did!  We more than made it work! Gina was stunning and more than willing to try any idea that I had. She also brought along Liz (the bride from my last shoot), who was a tremendous help!   Now, I can't show you photos of her dress lest her groom-to-be stumble upon his blushing bride before the wedding day, but I do have a couple of head shots that I wanted to share!  More to come...

I had the pleasure of photographing a family, with two of the sweetest little boys I have ever met this past weekend.  Their little boys were so sweet, so precious and so well behaved! Here are a few of my favorites!

It's so fun for me to watch kids grow up. They change so much, but there a little bits of them that stay a part of them forever. I have been taking pictures of Davis from the beginning and I can't believe he is already 3 years old!! We got to venture out to this really cool barn for his third year portraits and we had so much fun! My photography wasn't even really a career yet when I began taking pictures of Davis so I feel like I am getting to grow with him. As he explores and discovers the world, I am exploring and discovering the world of photography and I'm so glad I get to work with him.  It's so hard to narrow down my favorites, but here are a few! Happy Birthday, Davis!

I got to shoot my very first urban bridal shoot yesterday with the stunning Elisabeth! I have never had much of an eye for or really an interest in architecture or cityscapes or really anything that has to do with cities so when Liz said she liked the idea of doing an urban shoot, I was excited for the challenge and incredibly nervous that I wouldn't be up for it. I'm so glad she wanted to do this and was willing to be the guinea pig for my very first urban shoot. My sis got to help me out with this one and I couldn't have done it without her. Liz brought along her friend, Michelle and we all had so much fun together! Liz was stunning - from the dress, to the shoes to the PERFECT veil to her piercing blue eyes, she makes these photos more than just pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Here are a few of my favorites.

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Iyla on her 1 week birthday. She is so beautiful and she was such a laid back, sleepy baby. She made my job easy! Here are a couple of photos from the shoot.
